11. Personal Coaching — Terms of Engagement

S. S. Dhar offers personal coaching sessions on writing, publishing, content strategy, and related topics. Coaching is conducted via video call (Zoom, Google Meet, or an agreed alternative).

11.1 Booking & Confirmation

Coaching sessions are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Sessions are booked subject to availability and are scheduled by mutual agreement via email or a scheduling tool. A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided. Until payment is received and confirmed, no time slot is reserved.

11.2 Session Conduct

Sessions are conducted in a professional manner. S. S. Dhar reserves the right to terminate any session immediately and without refund if the client engages in abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour during the session.

11.3 Rescheduling & Cancellations by the Client

Rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session time will be accommodated once at no charge
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session may be accommodated at S. S. Dhar’s discretion and may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 25% of the session fee
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the session will receive a full refund minus any payment platform transaction fees
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session are non-refundable
No-shows (failing to attend without prior notice) are non-refundable under any circumstances

11.4 Cancellations by S. S. Dhar

In the rare event that a session must be cancelled by S. S. Dhar due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive either a full rescheduled session at a mutually agreed time or a full refund of the session fee paid — whichever you prefer.

11.5 Confidentiality

All information shared during coaching sessions by either party is treated as strictly confidential. S. S. Dhar will not disclose your personal information, business plans, manuscript details, or any other information shared during sessions to any third party without your explicit written consent. Similarly, you agree not to record, share, publish, or distribute session recordings, transcripts, or content without prior written permission from S. S. Dhar.

11.6 Scope of Coaching

Coaching services are advisory in nature. S. S. Dhar provides guidance based on personal experience and knowledge but does not guarantee specific outcomes in publishing, income generation, or any other area. 12. Book Review Service — Terms

ssdhar.com offers a book review facilitation service to assist Amazon KDP authors in obtaining honest reader reviews. The following terms govern all participation:

12.1 Free Review Programme (ARC Programme)

Under the free review programme, a reviewer receives a complimentary digital product from ssdhar.com (of equivalent value to the product tier agreed) in exchange for reading a designated book and posting an honest review on the specified marketplace.

The complimentary product is provided as compensation for the reviewer’s time — not as payment for a positive review
All reviews must be honest, genuine, and based on the reviewer’s actual reading experience
Reviews must comply fully with marketplaces’ Community Guidelines — reviews that violate policies must not be posted

Guest posting where the contributor receives a backlink as the sole compensation, is provided as a mutual value exchange and does not involve monetary payment to either party unless otherwise agreed in writing. 13.5 Removal of Guest Posts

16. Refund Policy

16.1 How to Submit a Refund Request

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment platform and may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

16.2 Refund Processing Fees

Approved refunds will be issued for the full purchase price where eligible. However, transaction fees charged by the payment platform (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay, etc.) at the time of the original purchase are non-recoverable by us and will be deducted from the refund amount where the platform does not return them to us.
